You can now look up History in the Blogs and Task History to see what Tasks you have recently done or Blogs to which you have recently responded.
Daily Prize Release Receipts
By request, we added a new Report called Print Prize Receipts for stations that physically attach winner information to prizes at the Front Desk to ensure correct fulfillment. To generate the Receipts, enter the number of days (1 = yesterday) of Receipts that you would like to print, and the station(s). Clicking Generate Report will give you a list of pages, each including:
- Each Winner’s Information
- Prize Information
- Release Text from Release as entered for that Contest
- Winner Signature and Date Blanks
Jackpot Contests
Now PROMO can manage your Jackpot contests, including increasing the Jackpot and awarding consolation prizes automatically.
Here’s how it works:
Promotions Director:
- Go to the Contest Wizard by pointing at Actions on the Details screen for the Jackpot contest PRF.
- On Step 1 - Add Plays, choose Jackpot Prize, and the screen will change to the Jackpot Add Plays form
- Enter the Minimum Jackpot amount (the amount to which the Jackpot defaults after a Jackpot Winner is assigned), the Jackpot Incr. (the amount that it will increase each time no Jackpot Winner is assigned), along with the usual information necessary for Contest Plays.
- On Step 2 - Assign Prizes, choose a Jackpot prize from the dropdown or enter a new Jackpot Prize name and add the Prize On The Fly.
- Type - Choose Variable Cash.
- Total Qty. - The dollar amount of the Contest’s total budget, and fill out the rest of the Prizes on the Fly form as you would for any Prize.
- Choose a Consolation Prize or add a Prize on the Fly for that as well along with the Quantity of Consolation Prizes that each non-Jackpot Winner will receive.
- Complete the Contest Wizard as desired.
On Air:
- You will see the current Jackpot Amount just under the Contest Copy under Notes and the Assign Winner button will read: “$ Jackpot Options.”
- Do not enter a Jackpot Winner’s Name until you know whether they have won the Jackpot or not.
- You will see two buttons instead of just one for Jackpot Contests.
- Increase Jackpot - If there is no Jackpot Winner, click here to assign the Consolation Prize and show you the new Jackpot Amount for the next Jackpot Contest Play.
- Assign - If there is a Jackpot Winner, enter the Winner’s Name and click Assign. This will assign the current jackpot amount to the Winner and change the Jackpot amount for the next Jackpot Contest Play to the default Minimum Amount for the contest.
Improved User Sign-up Process
We improved the Sign-Up Process to allow users to sign up for their own account, be set up by vCreative, and then finally approved by a Firm Admin at their company to ensure user security.
Added System Message Banners
We can now let you know what is up with the system at any given moment via colorful banners. These are located at the top of the page and you can close them after you have read them.
Bug Fixes:
- Cleaned up with Winner Form Admin Page just a little bit
- Adjusted the way equipment is listed slightly
- Fixed a tiny quirk that made the Action button turn gray
- Fixed Liner Scheduling bugs
- Changing one no longer changes all
- Liner Grid Order restored
- Liner Avails can now be scheduled in the 11PM Hour
- Tracked down the mysterious ghost liner that scheduled a liner immediately at the time when liners were scheduled.
- Password no longer required to for user to change passwords
- Neverending Spinner when looking up Client Names, Prizes, etc. squashed
- Firm Admin’s People listing cleaned up
- Lots of additions to the back end to help us find future issues and better assist people
- Fixed the “No Response” when submitting an Edited PRF
- Fixed an issue with the Incomplete Tasks email for Promotions Directors that listed Contests with Plays as Contests without Plays.
